This menu we celebrate the Great cuisine of Goa with its classical Portuguese influences, reminiscent of a Mediterranean European influence. Whilst the names may appear in my Broken Portuguese the explanations say it all. Enjoy the graze as we have tried our best to bring in an amazing range of flavours and choices.

BRUSHCETTA de BALCHÃO de MEXILHÃO ‘G’ **
Scottish Mussles tossed in an old Fashioned style Goan masala generally associated with pickling seafood. Made using Goan red masala ground in palm vinegar, served on a Bruschetta toast.

Quartered pork shank slow cooked in a rich tomato sauce with garlic and herbs. This delicate muscle of pork shank is truly one of my favourites.

Choriso of Venison made by the famous Trealy Farm in North Wales diced and tossed with potato gnocchi and grated cheese.

Cubed fillet of kangaroo marinated in a feisty Goan Peri-Peri masala, skewered and chargrilled in the tandoor.

This is in simple terms a Scotch Egg of- quail egg encased in spiced turkey mince, rolled in crumbs, deep-fried and served with Oriental coleslaw.

CHONAY CHEM MISSAL ‘V’ **
This is a fabulous example of the Hindu Goan cooking and represents a dish that is most popular in local restaurant as a breakfast. Chickpeas cooked in a hot Xacutti style thick curry & served topped with ‘shev ganthia’ or as it is known in Britain ‘Bombay mix’.
